Well, I have an audiologist – Sue.  She makes house calls: to program my hearing aids, to deliver the batteries or to solve any problems.

When hearing aids using new technology came on the market, she asked if I was interested in trying them for a week or 2 to see if I liked them.  Wow!  When I told her I liked them except for one thing, she checked out other companies to find exactly what I wanted & at a good price.  Sue wants me to be happy with my hearing aids.

It wasn’t until I spoke to my friend that I realized how lucky I am to have Sue looking after my hearing aids, not a company.  Sue wants me to be happy with my hearing aids.

I was having a horrible time with my hearing aids. All I was getting was echoing in the voices. Most of the time I never wore them. I then heard about a hearing centre in Uxbridge. I find it amazing how much the adjustment she made to my existing hearing aids improved my ability to hear about 90% better.

Letter to the Editor

We would like to acknowledge with thanks the kindness shown to us at the Uxbridge Hearing Centre recently. My Aunt, who is 88, came to visit from England, and on her second day here with us, had her hearing aid malfunction. Without it she is totally deaf.

The Uxbridge Hearing Centre came to the rescue and loaned her one without charge for the whole of her stay, and even allowed her to use it for the journey home and to mail it back from the United Kingdom.

We are very grateful to the staff of Uxbridge Hearing Centre for making it possible for my Aunt to enjoy her holiday in Canada. You are a shining example of the friendly hospitality in this town of ours, and she asked me to send this on her behalf and to say that she was overwhelmed by your caring and generosity.
